Studio Mems began in a sunlit 1910s home filled with carefully chosen vintage pieces, each with its own story except for one: the couch, which looked beautiful but felt silent. Believing that objects should express identity and emotion, Dorith set out to create something beyond the purely functional, transforming the ordinary square pillow into bold, playful statement pieces.

What started as a personal experiment grew into Studio Mems, built on the idea that interiors shouldn’t be taken too seriously, but instead invite joy, character, and individuality. It became a response to generic, mass-produced decor and the pressure to stay neutral and minimal, turning each piece into a character that celebrates unapologetic self-expression. Today, Studio Mems aims to bring that same spirit into other homes, creating spaces that stand out and make you smile every day.
